Heritage with an unique charm that marked the crucial transition from craftsmanship to industry. A tradition that looks to the future, today able to renew itself through the creative insights of international designers selected precisely because they share a distinctive aptitude for research.
GTV launches the new 2021 collection: AROUND COLORS RUGS COLLECTION
The new projects by Gebrüder Thonet Vienna: design that combines tradition and innovation
The GTV catalogue is enriched with new home accessories with the AROUND COLORS RUGS COLLECTION carpets designed by Paola Pastorini, a stylist who has been working with the company for several years, handcrafted by CC Tapis. Originating from a careful study of elementary geometric shapes and their juxtaposition, it is freely inspired by early 20th century influences. A chromatic choice capable of softening the rigour of the geometric design, creating a décor that harmoniously delineates the spaces. There are four models designed for GTV, two rectangular, one square and one oval. Each model takes its name from the predominant colour present in the geometry of the carpet, therefore YELLOW, BROWN, PINK and GREY. The carpets are made of wool and silk and are hand-knotted.
