Third Red Dot for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna

The Beaulieu chair by Philippe Nigro has won the Red Dot Best of the Best 2022 for the Product Design, Home Furniture category. This highly coveted honour rewards the innovation, functionality and design of each product in competition. For the 2022 edition, a team of 50 international experts from different specialist areas tested, analysed and evaluated each product individually. An international guarantee of excellence first introduced in 1955, today the Red Dot Award is one of the most prestigious and oldest awards in the world of design. Born from the vision of Philippe Nigro, the Beaulieu chair reinterprets the genetic code of GTV and bentwood, its main archetype: the chair is distinguished by the sinuous and welcoming backrest whose harmonious encounter with the back legs gives life to the armrests that wrap around the seat, inviting you to enjoy a moment of relaxation.
